Below is an overview of the Kruger BIG Assist program.

  • In 2023, Kruger Products continues its unwavering support for hockey in Canada with the Kruger Big Assist program. This year, six Canadian minor hockey associations will each receive a $25,000 donation to offset enrollment fees to get more kids on the ice.
  • With its vision of “Making Everyday Life More Comfortable,” Kruger Products continues its commitment of helping the communities it serves by activating the Kruger Big Assist. Kruger Products believes that sport is a critical foundation of building healthy and happy communities, and it wants to help establish a future where everyone feels welcome and supported on the ice.
  • The Kruger Big Assist looks for minor hockey associations who RISE to the challenge of growing the love of hockey with Canadian youth. Canadians had an opportunity to nominate their favourite minor hockey associations at krugerbigassist.ca, showcasing why they believe the association deserves support.
  • The selected six associations will use the Kruger Big Assist donation to offset enrollment fees so more kids across the country can get on the ice and experience the joy of being part of the hockey community. Six Canadian minor hockey associations have been chosen to each receive a $25,000 donation from the Kruger Big Assist program, in recognition of their efforts to grow the sport of hockey and get more kids on the ice in their communities.
  • The winners are selected based on their ability to reach those in the community in need of financial assistance, inspire youth to fall in love with the sport, support youth to achieve their dreams through hockey, and encourage diversity and inclusion in the community through hockey initiatives.
